Recalls are a well-established global practice; from time to time they are announced by almost all manufacturers of not only cars, but also any other industrial products. But since a car is considered a source of increased danger, it is recalls in the automotive industry that attract the most attention and cause the greatest resonance. Check if your car is covered by a recall campaign. Sometimes manufacturers will recall their cars because of substandard parts or workmanship and repair them for free, regardless of the warranty. This is called a recall campaign. More information on 1987 Chevrolet BLAZER recalls can be found in this database. It may be useful to use online problems resource that shows automotive defect patterns, based on complaint data submitted by vehicle owners. In most cases, the recall is initiated by the manufacturer. But it also happens that it is forced to do so. The largest and most scandalous recall campaigns were those that were initiated by complaints and lawsuits from consumers through controlling state structures.

Additional Description: 1987 Chevrolet Blazer K5 - - Western Truck - Rust Free - Two Tone Paint - LS Swap 5.3L V8 - Fun Beach/Mountain Cruiser (Please note: If you happen to be viewing this vehicle on a website other than our main website, it's possible that only some of our many photographs of this car are not presented due to website limitations. To be sure you access all the photographs, please go to our main website: Garage Kept Motors.) Here's a tough truck that is ready for a day at the beach or off roading adventure. An updated drivetrain mated to the tough 4x4 system the K5's originally came with make this truck a capable vehicle. A quick scroll through our photos reveals that this truck is finished in a two tone white and maroon over a gray interior. Although the paint and body show some age, the body is solid since this truck is originally from the warm climate of sunny Newport Beach California. A new 'SoftTopper' soft top has been installed, which makes it easy to switch from top up to top down driving. The interior is finished in gray cloth with gray trim. Bucket seats with a console for the front seat passengers, a bench seat for rear seat passengers, and plenty of cargo room in the rear. A full dashboard of gauges, original radio, aluminum trim, column shifter, and floor mounted 4x4 selector are a few of the interior highlights. Pop the hood and you find a 5.3L LS V8 mated to a 4L65E automatic transmission. This truck originally had a 6.2L Diesel, which was the optional engine offered for '87. The current powerplant offers more reliability. This updated squarebody Blazer should be on your radar thanks to an updated engine, solid body thanks to being a California transplant, and the ability to go from top up to drop top.
