Major Options / Build:

Additional Description: Their first major redesign after WWII, the new GM Advanced Design trucks were an instant hit with a public who were desperate for new automobiles. Hitting the market in 1947, the trucks were built with minimal changes until 1955. Sold in 3100, 3600, and 3800, these ½, ¾, and 1 ton trucks were durable and available in multitudes of configurations. A range of inline 6 cylinder engines were available as well. GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this gorgeous 1950 3100 for your consideration. This truck is absolutely beautiful, courtesy of a complete restoration in 2019. The truck is powered by a GM 350v8 crate motor with 540 miles on it mated to an automatic TH 400 transmission with a 12 volt system. Other highlights include new tinted glass, new upholstery, 4 wheel disc brakes with dual master cylinders, new steel brake lines, electric wipers, new chrome bumpers, new chrome grill, new aluminum radiator, power steering, vintage air heater, black walnut bed wood, all new box, all steel body, new running boards, new tires and new chrome wheels. The truck is finished in Sour Apple metallic and shows exceptionally well. The truck comes with a binder of receipts and photos of the restoration.

Recalls are a well-established global practice; from time to time they are announced by almost all manufacturers of not only cars, but also any other industrial products. But since a car is considered a source of increased danger, it is recalls in the automotive industry that attract the most attention and cause the greatest resonance. Check if your car is covered by a recall campaign. Sometimes manufacturers will recall their cars because of substandard parts or workmanship and repair them for free, regardless of the warranty. This is called a recall campaign. More information on 1950 Chevrolet 3100 recalls can be found in this database. It may be useful to use online problems resource that shows automotive defect patterns, based on complaint data submitted by vehicle owners. The problems are organized into groups with data published by vehicle, component, and specific issue. See also an updated list of 1950 Chevrolet 3100 problems before buying a used car. In most cases, the recall is initiated by the manufacturer. But it also happens that it is forced to do so. The largest and most scandalous recall campaigns were those that were initiated by complaints and lawsuits from consumers through controlling state structures.
