Recalls are a well-established global practice; from time to time they are announced by almost all manufacturers of not only cars, but also any other industrial products. But since a car is considered a source of increased danger, it is recalls in the automotive industry that attract the most attention and cause the greatest resonance. Check if your car is covered by a recall campaign. Sometimes manufacturers will recall their cars because of substandard parts or workmanship and repair them for free, regardless of the warranty. This is called a recall campaign. More information on 1977 Pontiac CAN AM recalls can be found in this database. It may be useful to use online problems resource that shows automotive defect patterns, based on complaint data submitted by vehicle owners. The problems are organized into groups with data published by vehicle, component, and specific issue. See also an updated list of 1977 Pontiac CAN AM problems before buying a used car. In most cases, the recall is initiated by the manufacturer. But it also happens that it is forced to do so. The largest and most scandalous recall campaigns were those that were initiated by complaints and lawsuits from consumers through controlling state structures.

Additional Description: It's worth taking some extra time looking over this 1977 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. It has its numbers-matching V8, a cool all-blue look, nice features, and the overall attitude of one of the coolest cars of its era. The color on this holds close to the 1977-correct Lombard Blue. So it makes for a distinctive appearance in the world of black T/As, and yet, it never strays too far from the classic factory look. The color-matched Endura front end, shaker hood, factory body kit, and full-width rear spoiler are all part of a look that was both sleek and mean. We especially love these Trans Ams for their body graphics, and so it's especially nice to have a new full kit that keeps these looking crisp. After all, you know people gravitate towards the iconic hood bird, and so you want it looking its best. The other part we all instantly recognize are the "snowflake" alloys, and these are particularly striking with the gold against the blue. The sea of blue continues inside with a comfy blue velour upholstery. This is joined by an attractive black for a well-presented vintage atmosphere. This is a comfortable place to spend some time, and so you've got nice features like an armrest center console and an AM/FM/CD stereo with aux input to plug in you iPod. The factory air conditioning has even been upgraded to R134a (will need servicing to blow cold again.) It's a driver's atmosphere with Pontiac's distinct sports steering mounted on a tilt column. Beyond that is the hallmark machine-turned dash with full gauge package, including large speedo and tach. The 400 cubic-inch, four-barrel V8 is the numbers-matching powerplant. It lives in a correct-style engine bay that has the blue block radiating from within the deep black components. But what everyone will really take notice of is the ultra-cool shaker-style air topper (although this still correctly inhales through the front.) It's also worth taking note on the well-maintained fundamentals, including a new master cylinder. The big torque of the big V8 moves the sporty coupe easily, but there's more to this car's story. The Trans Am has a reputation for being a well-done all-around sports car. This is from features like the power front disc brakes and sway bars front & rear. Plus, there are great anytime driving features, like power steering a three-speed automatic transmission, and wide Kelly Charger tires. With the colors, the features, and the price, you know this is the kind of deal you need to hurry up and grab. Don't let this cool blue T/A slip away. Call today!!!
